Features and Specifications

The weight of the device is 140g supporting micro SIM. The screen is 4.2inch large of type capacitive touchscreen supporting 16M colors and with the resolution of 768x1280p. It also supports multi-touch. Design and Quality

The device has an angular design having quite pronounced chin below screen and is made out of stainless steel. The frame of stainless steel runs on either sides of the device along with the top. On each side, there is Small Square over which the logo of the device is written. The device can nicely sit in hand and gives a premium look due to its built. Some other devices also give premium feel like iPhone 5S and HTC One. Due to aluminum body, this is a solid handset and having Italian leather at the back gives a perfect grip to the device and thus this can hardly get damaged easily. The back is replaceable if it gets damaged. Removing the back cover, exposes the battery which is of same power as found in Z10, microSD card slot and MicroSIM card slot. This device is thicker and longer than Z10 and has the same specifications as found in Z10. The screen provides nice viewing angles.

OS and Tech

BlackBerry has its own OS in its all devices and here too there is v10.2 OS of BlackBerry in it. This OS works pretty well in the BlackBerry devices though some of the apps feel little tough to be handled by it. The OS here is quite fast in multitasking and browsing of net. This has also been given nice support from the RAM and the processor and the performance of the device is quite smooth.

Camera and Multimedia

The rear camera has a chrome ring around its lens in order to give it a premium feel and resides in the bar of glass along with LED light. Camera app here is quite basic and the speed of the shutter is also decent. So the performance of the camera is decent for both the front and the rear cameras. They both can record decent videos.

Battery and Memory

As per the claims of the company, the 1800mAh battery can provide about 9hrs of talk time working. It can also provide about 240hrs of standby time. This much time is not bad indeed. The memory is also very interesting both the internal memory and the RAM while the expansion to the internal memory is also decent.

Verdict

This device is only for the elite business class people. This has not been manufactured keeping in view the normal people. This device has the specifications similar to BlackBerry Z10 apart from the heavy aluminum chassis and the premium feel which is the common insignia of BlackBerry. All its worth it not to be purchased by ordinary people.
