BLU Elite Mobile Price in India
Lots of smart phones have been developed using the Android platform. Some companies such as LG and Philips are well-known in the industry and they have produced sets with this OS. However some not so famous companies also use the same platform to manufacture smart phones. One of them is BLU that introduced BLU ELITE 3.8 in July 2012 and made it available for buyers by August.
Features and Specifications:
The phone has a capacitive touch screen with a 3.8 inches display. It is an IPS LCD touch. Given that time the latest Android OS was used and the general specifications could compete against other brands quite neatly. The features included a 5 MP camera but the video quality is not that good.
For buyers it was a good option at the time because it was not as expensive as other smart phones and it had a good processor. The CPU was a 1 GHz Cortex A5 and Ardeno 200 was used as a GPU. The display itself was not so bad because the resolution was 480 x 800 pixels.
The phone has GSM connectivity and allows your usual communication channels.
Design and Quality:
The phone has been made available in two standard colors black and white keeping the design normal and decent. It is a simple and attractive design with dimensions 4.72 x 2.36 x 0.44 inches, and the display screen is very prominent for users to play videos on.
OS and Tech:
At that time smart phones of this price range did not support LTE connections. Other than that GSM, Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS and HSPA were all included in the networking and communications options.
The OS used at the start was v2.3 namely Gingerbread that had good performance. With time the OS was upgraded to v4.0 namely Ice Cream Sandwich. These upgrades helped buyers solve performance issues but some problems never got a solution which is why some buyers did not review the product so well.
A good and distinctive feature is voice commands for the smart phone. It also allows for voice dialing and predictive text input.
Camera and Multimedia:
It is possible to play different formats of photos and documents and even edit some in the phone. Moreover audio and video files of some formats can be easily played on loudspeaker and the sound system is good enough.
BLU ELITE 3.8 has a 5 MP camera that has an auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging and face detection. The camera has 2592 x 1944 pixels and saves videos in VGA format. The resolution for videos is 480p which is not good.
Battery and Memory:
This smart phone has good battery time and also good storage capacity which is one of its plus points because the camera is not up to the mark and there are not that many applications in the device.
The internal memory space has 512 MB RAM which processes at normal speed and storage space of 1 GB. BLU has given users the right to extend the memory up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.
The battery is Li-lon 1600 mAH which might not seem big enough but does rather well. The standard talk time for 2G is 20 hours and for 3G 10 hours. This is a he difference in performance that buyers must bear. The standby times for 2G and 3G are not that different as for 2G it is 550 hours and for 3G 500 hours.
Pros and Cons:
For Pros:
· Good Design
· OS Update
· Average Performance
· Good Features
For Cons:
· Low battery time
· Poor Camera Performance
· Bad camera resolution
Verdict:
BLU ELITE 3.8 can be matched and compared against Lenovo A269i or even Apple iPhone 5c 8 GB. It might surprise you but this smart phone is said to be slightly better than the 8 GB 5c because the storage space is bigger and the battery life is s much better. Even the designs match but these are all the good points in favor of BLU ELITE. Buyers must be aware that the camera performance is not that good and processing heavy application could become a challenge.
The overall reviews are not bad and you might just buy and enjoy the experience for your money’s worth.
