Certainly not a competitor for Samsung or Microsoft, Rage is trying to make its place in the fast growing mobile phone industry. The Rage Marvel is backed by the Android KitKat (v4.4.2) OS and is working on its way to prove a few points with its cool tech features and specifications. Though a bit bulky the Rage Marvel looks pretty nice with a textured rear end panel. It has an awe-striking 1.3 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM to support all of its applications. It delivers quick performance without any technical glitches or issues and might be of interest to the low end mobile phone buyers’ market.
Features and Specifications
Rage is known to have launched their smartphone with a few cool tricks of their own. A dual sim smartphone, the Rage Marvel has a Quad core processor (1.3GHz) to offer uninterrupted performance. It provides good gaming and camera experience. This smartphone much like the others is preloaded with multiple sensors and is a home to many default applications. It contains Accelerometer and proximity censors to be precise. It comes with and inbuilt chipset manufactured by MediaTek. It is GSM handset with dual standby options. To the customers surprise this phone provides 3G networking capabilities as well. It is said to have a maximum download speed of 21Mbps and a considerably fast upload speed of 5.76 Mbps. The phone has 2G and 3G networking facilities. It has fully capacitive touch display with a Qwerty keypad. The connectivity is ramped up by its WiFi supporting option as well. The phone supports gestures as well.

Rage Marvel is supported by a 1350 mAh battery and has a long lasting battery life. Although not the most battery efficient smartphone it has a standby time of up 130 hours. It is a very uniquely designed smartphone with dimensions of 128.4x65.2x9.6mm. It is certainly a bit heavier than its counterparts. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack, a standard for almost all smartphones in the world. It comes in multiple colour variants to adapt to the latest trends. Transferring data from phone to phone or phone to PC is made extremely easy with the USB and microUSB 2.0 features that add to the overall design of the phone. It has inbuilt Mali-400 graphics working on the inside.
OS and Tech
With the latest of Android OS and simultaneously backed by a pumped up 1.3 GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM, the Marvel is truly a multitasking smartphone that fits into the pocket lightly. Due to its compact specifications and small display the phone does not face any lag issues as such and is generally not prone to hanging as well. The manufacturing quality though is questionable but for a smartphone with this amount of specifications, judging is not really a matter.
Camera and Multimedia
Most of the smartphone out in the market are camera centered phones and come with flashy camera specifications much like this one. With a 5MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera, selfies and panoramic images or group photos just don’t seem tedious anymore. This smartphone comes with an LED flash to avoid dim lighting issues. Although it is a little less on the video recording part, but is pretty much manageable. Face detection, and panorama and motion track are built within the camera. This smartphone is built with a non HD display.
Battery and Memory
Rage Marvel has an inbuilt memory of 4GB for all the data storage in the world and allows an expandable memory of up to 32GB. So for all the data that is not deleted this phone just lets it settle in. MicroSD is the standard memory card type used. Due to several multimedia capabilities the battery life is killed to an extent. It support 7 hours and 130 hours of talktime and data standby respectively.

Verdict
There are many a smartphones that are available in this budget range of 4000+ such as Micromax Bolt A67 and Karbonn Titanium S4, but these phones have serious lagging and OS issues which Rage Marvel is away from. It may not be the most widely known brand of mobile phones around but has quite a lot of good features to take a look at. This phone is crafted for the low budget mobile purchasers and is potentially a good deal for them. It offers robust and quick operations in a very handy and light shape.
