Intex Aqua M5 Mobile Price in India
There is an English idiom stating "Cheap things are seldom good and good things are seldom cheap", but Intex has been proving for awhile now that it is not necessarily the case. With its latest launch the Intex Aqua M5, Intex has solidified their motto again. The newest launch boats power at an affordable price. So let's take a quick look over the features of the Intex Aqua M5 and decide whether it is worth buying.
Features and Specifications
The Intex Aqua M5 is a dual SIM handset that comes with a large 5" FWVGA capacitive touch screen. The display has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, which may be a little lower but common in this price range. The screen has a great color depth of 16.7M which will make colors more lively and accurate. The phone is equipped with a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor which will be enough to provide good performance. Moreover the handset comes with Android v4.4 KitKat loaded. The OS can be upgraded to the latest version of Android v5.0 Lollipop, which is an added benefit. The phone is equipped with 512 MB RAM which will provide good processing speed. The primary rear camera is an 8MP fixed focus camera which has the ability to record movies at high quality. The camera has an LED flash just beside it for assistance in low light. Moreover the camera features advanced features like face beauty, panorama, motion tracker etc. The front facing 2 MP camera may not be quality wise that good, but is suitable for taking selfies and video calling. The phone has a 4 GB internal storage space and the storage can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The phone draws its power from a 2000mAh battery pack. The battery pack is not the best in market but as per Intex's claims, it is expected to give a talk time of 5 hours on 3G network and 7 hours on 2G network. The battery will also be able to provide a standby time of up to 300 hours. On top of these the phone features a plethora of sensors and advanced technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, GPS etc.
Design and Quality
The phone looks quite good with its round edges. But the design is a bit generic and common in most Android phones. The body is made out of plastic and it is expected to last long. The look has a special appeal in it, and the cool ebony color gives it a sophisticated look which makes it look expensive than it really is. The phone has three touch buttons underneath the display and has a volume control and another screen lock button on the right hand side. The phone is made to carry around at ease. The dimensions of the set are 134 x 68.2 x 9.9 mm. The set is a bit thick, 9.9 mm, which will provide better grip.
OS and Tech
The phone comes with Android v4.4 KitKat preloaded. Intex has promised a quick update to Android v5.0 Lollipop, which is an absolute deal maker. Overall the phone features latest technological features and it is expected that it will give strong competition to its competitors. The 1.3 GHz Quad core processor will be able to process data at lightning fast speed.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. Both the cameras do not have auto focus or touch focus and lack some advanced features. The image quality is not that good either, but you cannot expect much better clarity of image at this price tag. Still the camera is able to record high quality videos and the front one will be enough to make flawless video calls. The front camera is also suitable for taking great quality selfies.
Battery and Memory
The phone is powered by a 2000mAh battery, and we believe the main reason behind the difference in price between the Intex Aqua M5 and Lava Iris X1 Atom is Aqua M5 having a better battery than the Lava handset. The 2000 mAh battery won't be able to keep the phone alive throughout the whole day, so make sure to charge it several times through the day. The phone is rigged with a 512 MB RAM for handling low to medium tasks, but do not expect the RAM to handle HD movie playback or even high fps gaming. The ROM capacity is 4 GB, and via microSD card it can be expanded up to 32 GB.
Pros and Cons
Pros
· Great design
· Great processor

Verdict
