Motorola Nexus 6 64GB Mobile Price in India
The Nexus 5 was a stellar phone by both Google and Asus; it saw wide success and was often sold out within hours of restocking at the Google store. The Nexus 6 saw a change in partnership with Motorola stepping in for Asus and making the Nexus 6 with Google. The phone is a beauty, it has almost everything a high end user could want, and looks great. A 2.7GHz Quadcore processor with 3GB of RAM, 13MP camera with dual LED flash, 2G, 3G & 4G support, 64GB internal memory, 3220 mAh battery and Android OS v5.0 Lollipop makes this phone a superb heavyweight in terms of specs.
Features and Specifications
The Nexus 6 has only a single sim but supports all local mobile networks like 2G, 3G and 4G. It has a very big 6 inch capacitive touch display with above HD resolution and is water resistant (not water proof). The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 to ensure the screen is not scratched or cracked easily. The screen is 1440 x 2560 resolution (higher than full HD) and 493 PPI using AMOLED technology. It is powered by an extremely powerful 2.7 GHz Quadcore processor coupled with an Adreno 420 chip for graphics. The handset has the new Android v5.0 Lollipop as its OS and can be upgraded to new versions like v5.1 by using the software update feature. The camera is a powerful 13MP with dual LED flash capable of taking UHD (4K) videos as well as 1080p Full HD videos at 30fps. It has a 3220mAh battery that comes with a Motorola Turbo charger offering fast charge and also features Qi Wireless charging Support with a separate peripheral.
Design and Quality
The phone comes in two beautiful colors i.e. Midnight Blue and Cloud White. The design is of a very high quality with a sturdy aluminum frame and durable plastic back cover. The device is water resistant meaning accidental water splashing on the device won’t short it but dropping it in a bucket of water will do so. The device is larger than the Note 4 which is because of the larger screen and Stereo loudspeakers even though its width is around 10mm. The rear sports a stylish Motorola Logo underneath the camera along with a big ‘nexus’ logo in vertical. Users will be pleased to find that the phone has slim bezels with the absence of any capacitive touch keys at the bottom which makes the screen look much larger.
OS and Tech
The OS in this phone is Android’s new v5.0 Lollipop which can be upgraded to newer versions via the built-in software update feature. Android opens the door to countless apps and games to be downloaded via the Google Play Store. The 2.7GHz Quadcore processor is powerful and easily manages to speed up loading times on apps and games especially since it has 3GB or RAM to support it. Multitasking with the new Android Lollipop and powerful processing power is very easy as the device does not slow down at all. Connectivity features are a plenty with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC & MicroUSB while the sensors are an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer.
Camera and Multimedia
The 13 MP rear camera has dual LED ring flash meaning the flash is surrounding the camera in the form of a ring instead of being found separately. It gives a much more improved experience with flash photography compared to the standard flash. The camera can be used to take UHD video meaning 4K resolution at 2160p at 30 fps but sadly records only mono sound with it. The image quality is among the best with 4128 x 3096 resolution and includes features like Panorama, Photosphere, HDR and Dual Recording. The front camera nothing special at just 2MP and can be used for selfies, videos and video calling. Multimedia features in the phone are plenty with the phone using stereo loudspeakers for great sound when watching movies or listening to music if you don’t feel like using the high quality handsfree that comes bundled in.
Battery and Memory
Nexus 6 has a 3220 mAh battery that offers 24hours of talk time and 330hours of standby time which is very good for a phone with such a big high quality display. High multitasking and internet usage will shave off the standby time by quite a lot but should last many users the whole day if not more. The built in memory for this variation is a whopping 64GB which is more than enough for many users. It does not come with a MicroSD option but considering the high amount of internal memory that is not a big deal breaker. 3 GB of RAM is one of the highest in phones these days and makes for enough memory to multitask without the device crashing or slowing down due to low memory.

It is expensive but understandably so when you see what the phone brings to the table. It has a leg up over rivals Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 as they both share many of the features of the Nexus 6 but are much more expensive than it. For now the Nexus 6 is a powerful phone with much to offer to users who can utilize its power and at a lower cost than other heavy hitters.
