InFocus M810 Mobile Price in India
Infocus has recently come out with a high end Smartphone called the Infocus M810. The phone has a great design and list of specs to boot. Infocus is a foreign based mobile company that regularly launches phones in the local market and has gained quite a fan following. It remains to be seen if this release further strengthens its position or weakens it. Looks wise alone this phone will gain many admirers but for the tech savvy consumer the guts matter much more than the looks.
Features and Specifications
A surprising change in the world of dual sim featured smartphones in the Infocus M810 with its single sim option. The single sim however offers support for all three networks i.e. 2G, 3G and 4G. The 13MP camera at the rear comes with LED flash support and uses a Sony sensor along a F2.2 aperture for better image capture. The OS is Android Lollipop v5.0 but uses a skin by the name of Inlife for its UI instead of the stock android. The display is 5.5inches Full HD display capable of a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and uses IPS LCD tech.
Design and Quality
Infocus has really focused on the looks of this phone and clearly want to give it the premium look and feel. It comes only in a gold color and bar shaped design boasting a hand crafted matte finish metal and glass material. The metal is a very thin aluminum alloy which is very light and improves the 6.9mm phone's look a lot. The glass material is covering the whole rear and front of the phone in the form of Gorilla Glass 3 giving it an added protection against bumps and drops. If we talk solely on the looks and design of the phone then the phone pulls ahead by miles in this price range.
OS and Tech
For many people the phone they purchase depends on the OS it comes installed with. With the ultra popular Android OS with the latest firmware version 5.0 Lollipop installed in the phone it shouldn't worry anyone. Of course how well the OS performs is entirely up to the support it receives from the internals of the phone. With a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz Quadcore processor and 2GB of RAM the multitasking and UI will perform very smoothly.
Camera and Multimedia
The 13MP rear and 5MP front camera both boast a Sony Exmor R sensor with a blue glass IR cutter claiming very high quality photos. With photos of 4128 x 3096 pixels the quality is very much high and photography buffs will definitely enjoy the phone's camera. The phone also has 1080p full HD video recording enabled. The front camera is 5MP and has a special treat for selfie addicts as it comes with a makeup feature with an integrated iCatch independent image processing engine. The phone due to running Android OS has support for many video and audio formats using either the built in apps or downloaded ones from the Play Store.
Battery and Memory
Boasting a 5.5inch Full HD display it is a shame that Infocus went with just a 2600mAh battery for their phone. A phone with such a big display would have been better off with at least 3000mAh. This explains the low talk time and standby time of just 10hrs and 480hrs respectively. We are fairly certain it won't last as long on 4G networks. The phone carries just 16GB of internal memory which is the standard amount these days but comes with a MicroSD option where you can upgrade it to 64GB more.

Verdict
The Infocus M810's design and looks are its major selling point. Granted it does have some pretty great specs to boast but in comparison to rivals like the Xiaomi Mi 4i and the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL it lags behind on many fronts. Most noticeable is its below average battery life. The appeal for this phone will lie mostly with those people for whom vanity is an acceptable personal trait and carries forward to the type of phone they own. A gold colored beauty protected on both sides by Gorilla Glass 3 will be a steal at under Rs. 15000 and preferred a lot over its rivals.
