BQ E3 Mobile Price List in India

BQ mobile since its inception in the year of 2006 has become a known face in the list of manufacturer of smartphones. With the objective of establishing its foothold into the growing smartphone market of India, the company has come up with BQ E3 smartphone. At a first glance though the device seems just like another smartphone in appearance, but needs further evaluation before investing some money on it.

Specifications 

BQ E3 comes with a capacitive touch screen of 4.5 inches that offers a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and color density of 218 ppi. The handset imparts a simple and aesthetic appearance with well covered plastic background with shiny metal trim along the edges. Although the color reproduction of the screen is fine, but users find it bit difficult to enjoy watching movies and videos due to the screen size of the phone.

BQ E3 runs on Android v4.4 KitKat operating system which is further supported by 512MB RAM and 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor. The overall performance of its user interface is average but the phone is unable to deal with handling HD games and videos due to poor RAM capacity. The operating system is pre-loaded with stocks of applications but most of them are not latest or upgraded to meet the current expectations of the customers.

The phone is bundled with a 5 MP back camera powered LED flash feature to offer decent photographic experience to the customers. For enhanced photography, users can use other options like geo-tagging, face detection, auto-focus and so on. The VGA front camera comes handy for capturing cool selfie images without any image distortion. The phone supports music and video recording in all formats and for more entertainment users can turn on the FM radio.

The phone is not perfect for heavy usage due to its poor battery capacity of 1800 mAh. It steadily sheds power the moment users are engaged in wide range of activities. The smartphone has a capacity of 4GB which can be further maximized till 32GB via micro-SD card.

Verdict  

BQ E3 falling within the price range of Rs. 3,500 is ideal for those who want to buy a smartphone for basic use and using the 4G network. The smartphones which can be a competitor includes the likes of Intex Aqua Y2 Plus, Karbonn Aura etc.
