Alcatel OneTouch X1 Mobile Price in India
The One Touch X1 is the latest offering from the Alcatel stable in the mid-range category seamlessly combining good looks with a range of features that you could use. Grapevine has it that Alcatel was supposed to commercially launch the handset in December of 2015 but a premature disclosure of its specifications compelled the company to postpone the release abruptly. Will the smartphone keep the gizmo freaks hooked?
Specifications
The moment you pull out the handset out of the pack, there is a chance that you might mistake it for an iPhone. Starting from the curvatures around the bezel edges to the central home knob and from the speakers to the UI, there was a lot that were almost akin to iPhone 6S. However, the spell is broken the moment you flip the phone and view the sizable X printed on the backside that’s looks gorgeous, thanks to its glossy metallic finish.
The One Touch X1 has a 5-inch touch-screen making the most of AMOLED technology for reproducing colorful images and illustrations. At the same time, you can see pictures, icons, symbols, and representations with crystal-clear clarity in broad daylight. The Gorilla glass, 2.5D Dragontail curved front, and the oleophobic coating safeguards the screen from scratches and oily smudges.
The Alcatel X1 despite running on Android 5.1.1 and supported by 2GB of RAM, performs relatively fast. Moving from one app to another initially is a breeze but seems to flag if you open too many apps all at once or attempt to multitask speedily. Even though the smartphone comes with a battery of moderate capacity, a single full charge might be sufficient to last you an entire day.
Though the One Touch X1 being loaded with a gamut of apps is certainly not a very big deal but the fact that you can organize the same according to their nature is a big plus. Entertainment wise, this Alcatel smartphone is nevertheless a big hit with its Arkamys sonic boosting software, and reinforced Cirrus Logic hardware all built into the 1.5W Hi-Fi Audio. The cameras, both the primary and the secondary (of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel respectively) will not make photography buffs shriek in delight but will not frustrate them either.
Verdict
At the price the One Touch X1 is available and with the features the handset is offering, diehard smartphone users hardly will have anything to complain about. However, the only downside is that the phone might huff and puff if you use it heavily at a stretch. With a price tag of Rs 15,999, the Alcatel One Touch X1 can give the Samsung’s Galaxy A5, the OnePlus X or the Huawei Honor 5X a run for money.
